Personal Profile

My love for the industry first started after watching the making of the lord of the rings, the idea of designing and creating worlds really appealed to me and I wanted to be able to start straight away. I began with going to the Harry Potter experience in Leavesden.

I really enjoyed seeing the sets and would look at the back to see the structure and get an idea on how they were made, what really amazed me was the amount of detail added to Snape's office, all the jars had individual contents and labels on them and the fact they went into such detail really must have helped the actors play their role and really immerse themselves and have it feel real.

This idea of making the actors feel like they're really in a place rather than just playing a part really appeals to me and I want to be able to create that atmosphere through building sets, designing them, making props and anything tangible within the scene, negating the need for post edits or CGI as much as possible so it's only used to enhance what's already there.
